- In 2013, Highland cattle were introduced to Berlin’s Herzberge Park as part of an experiment. The outcome exceeded expectations, as these gentle and friendly animals became beloved by both children and adults.
- Even the Queen of the United Kingdom has her own small herd of about 100 Highland cattle, kept on the pastures of Balmoral Castle.
- Despite being considered a dwarf breed, Highland cattle have large horns and a robust musculature.
